About the authorSuzanna Lynn is a Missouri-based author, creative entrepreneur, and full-time mom of three, living with her family in a small town tucked among the rolling hills of the Ozarks. Raised among fields and forests, she grew up wandering the woods of southern Missouri, certain the shadows hid fairies, dragons, and stories waiting to be told—a sense of wonder that still shapes everything she writes today.
She is the author of more than twenty books spanning children’s literature, fantasy, and young adult fiction, as well as practical workbooks for writers navigating both the creative and business sides of publishing. Her stories blend imagination, heart, and hope, often re-envisioning familiar tales while exploring themes of courage, belonging, and self-discovery. Among her most beloved creations is the Buddy the Blue Corgi series, inspired by her real-life corgi and the everyday moments that sparked a desire to help children navigate life’s big emotions. Through Buddy’s adventures, Suzanna creates heartwarming stories that gently guide young readers through challenges like friendship, patience, honesty, and self-worth—always with an uplifting message they can carry with them. Long before publishing, Suzanna’s poems, songs, and short stories earned recognition throughout high school and college, eventually growing into a professional writing career and the creation of expansive story worlds, including her ongoing fairytale retelling universe, The Untold Stories. When she isn’t writing, Suzanna enjoys drawing, painting, scrapbooking, and creating resources for fellow authors. She also supports the literary community through her work with the Laura Ingalls Wilder Children’s Literature Festival, where she helps maintain the festival’s website and designs promotional materials. She shares her home—and her stories—with Buddy and a lively crew of other animals, who continue to inspire the characters and adventures her readers love. |
