Author Visit Policy Update – Minimum Book Order Requirement
To continue offering engaging and meaningful visits while keeping the program sustainable, we’ve made a small update to our author visit policy.
In addition to the standard travel fee, a minimum order of 20 books is now required for each school visit. This order helps support the time and materials that go into every event and ensures students can continue to benefit from these enriching experiences.
During the event, books are discounted 25%, so book prices will be either $10 or $12, depending on the title.

- The 20-book minimum can be fulfilled through any combination of school purchases and student/parent orders.
- For example, if 10 students pre-order books, the school would only need to purchase the remaining 10 to meet the minimum.
- Final book totals (including student orders) will be tallied on the day of the event, and payment for the remaining balance can be made at that time.
